The True Cost of Compulsive Sexual Behavior

Most men don't realize how much their pattern is actually costing them until they stop and add it up.

It's not just the money spent on porn subscriptions, massage parlors, hotels, or sessions. It's the hidden costs:

  • The emotional bandwidth consumed by shame, secrecy, and managing a double life
  • The erosion of trust in your primary relationship
  • The distance growing between you and your kids
  • The hours lost to compulsive behavior and recovery from acting out
  • The gap between who you are and who you want to be

Many men tell us they were spending $1,000–$3,000 per month on their addiction β€” subscriptions, sessions, hotels, lost productivity, and the aftermath.

Compare that to other options:

  • $15,000–$40,000 for residential treatment that pulls you out of your life for 30–90 days
  • Years of weekly therapy alone without daily structure to practice what you're learning

Our evidence-based programs start at $595/month and work alongside your existing therapy β€” giving you the daily structure to rewire thousands of hours of patterns while staying in your life.

What you'll gain: clarity, consistency, and a daily practice that turns insight into lasting behavioral change.

Therapy Treats the Trauma. Daily Practice Rewires the Behavior.

Your therapist is trained to help you heal the core wounds. We give you the daily structure to build new patterns between sessions.

Here's what the research tells us about behavioral change:

Deep healing requires professional therapy β€” Your therapist is uniquely trained to help you process trauma, attachment wounds, and the underlying pain driving compulsive behavior. That work is essential and irreplaceable.

Rewiring requires daily practice β€” You're not just healing old wounds. You're rewiring tens of thousands of hours of thinking, feeling, and behaving. That level of neurological and behavioral change doesn't happen in one hour per week, no matter how good your therapist is.

Integration happens in real life β€” Between therapy sessions is where recovery actually lives. What you do with the other 167 hours of the week determines whether insight becomes lasting change.

That's the gap we fill.

The Return 2 Intimacy Recovery System gives you evidence-based daily structure, peer community, and clinical accountability that extends your therapy work into every day of your life.

Your therapist does the deep work.
We help you practice it daily.
Together, you get the whole picture.

Your Recovery Operating System β€” Available 24/7

Evidence-based psychoeducation and daily tools that support your therapeutic work between sessions.

Comprehensive Psychoeducation Library

30+ video modules covering trauma neuroscience, shame resilience, attachment patterns, and healthy sexuality. The psychoeducation your therapist would teach you if there were time β€” accessible anytime.

The Kitchen Tableβ„’ Method

Our evidence-based daily journaling framework for Internal Family Systems parts-work, emotional regulation, and integration. Takes 15–20 minutes and becomes your daily anchor between therapy sessions.

DSAP + End-of-Day Reflection Tools

Structured daily check-ins that help you track patterns, triggers, and progress in real time. Finally understand what's driving your behavior instead of just reacting to it.

AI-Assisted Pattern Analysis

Your daily reflections generate personalized insight summaries showing patterns you might miss. Shared with your coach or therapist (with your permission) so progress is tracked consistently.

Moderated Peer Community

HIPAA-compliant WhatsApp community connecting you with other men in recovery. Ask questions, share wins, get support. You're not alone in this anymore.

Therapist Care Coordination

Many of our clients are referred by their therapists. We provide regular progress updates, clinical notes, and care coordination to support your ongoing therapeutic work.

This system isn't a supplement to your recovery β€” it IS your recovery infrastructure.

The live coaching and groups we offer simply personalize and accelerate what the system provides. But the daily practice is where lasting change happens.

Evidence-Based. Trauma-Informed. Clinically Supervised.

Every Client Begins with a Clinical Assessment

All program tiers include an initial assessment call to determine appropriate level of care, assess safety and stability, and ensure good clinical fit.

We'll help you choose the right tier for where you are β€” or refer you to a higher level of care if that's what you need. Our goal is your recovery, not just enrollment.

This program integrates evidence-based clinical frameworks including:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) for parts work, self-compassion, and understanding protective behaviors
  • Attachment Theory to address relational patterns and intimacy avoidance
  • Trauma-Informed Care that addresses underlying pain, not just surface behavior
  • Behavioral Science for habit formation and neurological rewiring

When clients need more intensive care than we provide, we refer out. This includes active crisis situations, severe untreated trauma, acute psychiatric needs, or cases requiring residential treatment.

Recovery is not one-size-fits-all, and we're committed to matching clients with the appropriate level of care β€” even when that's not us.

Clinical Expertise Meets Lived Understanding

πŸ“·

[Your Name], LMFT, CSAT

[X] years treating compulsive sexual behavior and intimacy disorders

I created Return 2 Intimacy after working with hundreds of men who cycled through programs that provided insight without giving them a daily structure to actually practice recovery.

The pattern was clear: Weekly therapy provides essential healing, but behavioral change requires daily structure. Men who only saw me once a week often relapsed between sessions β€” not because they lacked insight, but because they didn't have tools to use when triggered at 10pm on a Tuesday.

This program fills that gap. It's built on evidence-based frameworks I use in clinical practice:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) for understanding protective parts and building self-compassion
  • Attachment Theory for addressing relational patterns and intimacy avoidance
  • Trauma-Informed Approaches that treat underlying pain, not just surface behavior
  • Neuroplasticity Research on how behavioral patterns actually change

I also understand this work from personal experience. I know what it's like to live in the gap between who you are and who you want to be. That lived experience informs how I built this program β€” with empathy, without shame, and with realistic expectations about how hard this work actually is.

Every program tier includes clinical oversight. When clients need more intensive care than we can provide, we refer out. When they're ready for less support, we step back. The goal is always your recovery, not our enrollment numbers.

If you're already working with a therapist, this program is designed to support and extend that relationship β€” not replace it.

Why This Approach Works

Real-time daily practice beats weekly insight alone.

Daily Structure > Weekly Therapy Alone

You'll know exactly what to do every day β€” not just what to think about once a week. The Kitchen Table practice becomes your behavioral anchor between therapy sessions.

Peer Community > Isolation

Connect with other men who understand without judgment. Finally have people who get it without you having to explain or minimize your experience.

Integration > Willpower

We don't ask you to "just stop." We help you understand the protective function of your behavior, heal the underlying pain, and build genuine intimacy capacity. Willpower fails. Integration lasts.

Pattern Awareness > Shame

Daily tracking and AI-assisted analysis show you behavioral patterns you can't see alone. Your coach or therapist reviews these insights with you β€” focusing on data and progress, not judgment.

Evidence-Based Frameworks > Motivational Slogans

Built on trauma-informed psychology, Internal Family Systems, and attachment theory β€” proven clinical approaches, not generic recovery platitudes or one-size-fits-all 12-step dogma.

This isn't theory. It's a clinical system that has helped hundreds of men move from compulsive behavior to genuine intimacy.

What Men Are Saying

"Working with this program alongside my weekly therapy gave me the daily structure I needed. The Kitchen Table practice helped me understand my triggers and patterns in real time, so I wasn't just talking about recovery once a week β€” I was actually doing it every day."

β€” D., 42, Florida

8 months in Structured Coaching

"What made the difference was having other men who understood, without judgment. The combination of community, daily practice, and my therapist's work on the deeper trauma gave me the full picture I needed. I'm finally addressing this comprehensively instead of just managing symptoms."

β€” J., 37, New York

System Access + weekly therapy for 6 months

"My therapist recommended this program, and I'm grateful she did. It gave me concrete tools to use between our sessions and helped me stay accountable to the work we were doing together. The daily structure is what made therapy actually work for me."

Common Questions

What happens in the initial assessment?

Every client β€” regardless of tier β€” begins with a free 30-minute clinical assessment call. We'll discuss:

  • Your current patterns and what you've tried before
  • Whether you're currently in therapy and what support system you have
  • Any safety concerns or co-occurring issues (depression, substance use, etc.)
  • Which program tier is the best clinical fit for where you are
  • Whether this program is appropriate, or if you'd benefit from a different level of care

Our goal is to match you with the right support β€” even if that means referring you elsewhere. We don't enroll clients who aren't appropriate for our level of care.

When is this program NOT appropriate?

This program works best for clients who are:

  • Stable enough to engage in group work and independent daily practice
  • Not in active crisis requiring daily clinical contact
  • Able to manage co-occurring issues (depression, anxiety, substance use) with existing support

We refer to higher levels of care when clients need:

  • Residential treatment or intensive outpatient (9+ clinical hours/week)
  • Crisis intervention or acute psychiatric care
  • Daily clinical contact beyond what our structure provides
  • Treatment for severe untreated trauma that requires specialized care first

During your assessment, we'll be honest about whether this program is the right fit β€” even if that means referring you to more appropriate care.

My therapist told me about this program. How does coordination work?

Excellent. Many of our clients are referred by their therapists, who remain an active part of the care team. With your written consent, coordination includes:

  • System Access: Monthly progress summaries and access to your behavioral tracking data
  • Guided Support & Structured Coaching: Monthly clinical updates and pattern analysis
  • Full Recovery Track: Weekly progress notes and quarterly care team check-ins

You control what information is shared. All coordination happens with your explicit written consent and follows HIPAA compliance.

Will my wife or partner be involved?

Not unless you want them to be. This program focuses on your recovery first. Many clients later invite their partners into couples work or partner support groups, but that's optional and separate from your individual work.

You need to get stable and develop your own recovery practice before you can effectively rebuild relationship trust. That sequencing is important.

What if I relapse?

Relapse is a normal part of recovery, not failure. Your coach or facilitator will help you:

  • Process what happened without shame or judgment
  • Understand what triggered the relapse
  • Adjust your plan based on what you learned
  • Get back to your daily practice immediately

Progress isn't linear. We expect setbacks and plan for them as part of the recovery process. The system keeps working even when you slip.

Is this a Christian program or 12-step based?

No. We're trauma-informed and psychology-based, drawing from evidence-based clinical frameworks like Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, and somatic approaches.

All faiths (and no faith) are welcome. If 12-step recovery works for you, that's great β€” we support that. But it's not required or emphasized here. Our approach is clinical and secular.

Do you take insurance?

Not currently. However, because many clients are referred by their therapists and this program functions as adjunct treatment, we can provide documentation for:

  • HSA/FSA reimbursement
  • Out-of-network insurance claims (superbills)
  • Letters of medical necessity

Your referring therapist can also document our program as part of your treatment plan, which may help with reimbursement approval.

How long do I need to stay in the program?

Most clients see meaningful behavioral change in 3–6 months. Full integration and relational repair typically takes 12–18 months. But you control your timeline based on your progress and goals.

Some men stay for years as ongoing support. Some graduate and return when life gets challenging. There's no "wrong" way to use this program.

What's the difference between this and traditional therapy?

Traditional therapy is usually 50 minutes once a week. You gain crucial insight and process trauma, but you're often left not knowing what to do with that insight the other 167 hours of the week.

This program gives you:

  • Daily behavioral structure and practice tools
  • Peer community support
  • Real-time pattern tracking and feedback
  • Psychoeducation you can access anytime

Many clients do both β€” therapy for deep trauma work, our system for daily behavioral practice. They work together, not instead of each other.

What if I'm not working with a therapist?

That's okay. While many clients are referred by therapists, plenty start here independently. During your assessment, we'll discuss whether starting therapy should be part of your plan, or if this program alone is appropriate for your situation.

For some clients, the System Access tier provides enough structure alongside their existing support system. For others, we recommend adding therapy to address deeper trauma work while using our program for daily practice.

Can I stay anonymous?

Yes. Groups use first names only. All client data is HIPAA-compliant. Your therapist only receives information if you explicitly consent. The WhatsApp community is private and actively moderated.

We take confidentiality and privacy seriously.

What if I'm not sure which tier to choose?

That's exactly what the free assessment call is for. We'll help you determine which tier makes clinical sense based on:

  • Your current behavioral patterns and history
  • What support system you already have
  • Your goals and timeline
  • What level of structure and accountability you need

You can always upgrade or downgrade as you progress. The tier you start with doesn't have to be where you stay.

You Don't Have to Figure This Out Alone
